Godfrey-Lee Public Schools is pleased to announce the 2011-2012 Rebel Band, led by Mr. Kevin Gabrielse.  Our band is proud of its many accomplishments and are gearing up for another amazing season. The Rebel Band worked very hard during band camp this summer under the hot sun and once again dazzled us with their performance of the show entitled "The Lion King".  

In the past the band scored a Division II at the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association Festival, received awards for Best Percussion, Best Music and 1st Place in the Wyoming Park Invitational and East Kentwood Invitational.  Not bad at all! 

The 2011-2012 band year has begun with the completion of band camp.  We would like to thank all the volunteers and community who have donated to support band camp.  We are gearing up for another outstanding marching season.  We always welcome plenty of volunteers. We hope that you are having a fantastic summer and look forward to seeing you at one of the many home games or at our competitions.
