The Godfrey-Lee Public Schools Board of Education established the Lee High School "Rebel Hall of Fame" to recognize alumni and other individuals associated with the school district for their achievements and contributions to society. Nominees must meet one or more of the following criteria:
Nominations are accepted annually for achievement in one of five main categories:
In addition, the selection committee may consider a nomination that is of a unique nature and doesn't necessarily fit any of these categories. Nominations are due by November 1 of each year. Induction ceremonies will be held during a winter varsity basketball game. A plaque will be displayed in Lee High School for each Hall of Fame inductee. Normally, a maximum of two selections will be made annually after the first year. Nomination Directions: In order to nominate an inductee into the Rebel Hall of Fame, a nomination form must be completed. Please be certain to include enough factual evidence for the Godfrey-Lee Hall of Fame Committee to adquately consider your nomination. The committee must have enough information to make a decision so please be sure you provide as much information and evidence as possible. The lack of detailed reasons for the nomination may preclude it from being considered.
